1. Introduction

Welcome to Craftory.lk (hereinafter referred to as "Craftory", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.


2. Services Provided

Craftory serves as a multi-vendor marketplace that connects independent Sri Lankan artisans ("Sellers") with customers ("Buyers"). We provide the platform for transaction facilitation but are not the direct manufacturer of the goods listed, unless explicitly stated otherwise.


3. User Accounts

  1. Registration: To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
  2. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are liable for all activities that occur under your account.
  3. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase or register as a vendor.


4. Purchasing and Payments

  1. Pricing: All prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
  2. Payments: We accept payments via Credit/Debit cards through our secure payment partner, PayHere.
  3. Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraud.


5. Shipping and Delivery

  1. Scope: We currently deliver exclusively within Sri Lanka.
  2. Timelines: Delivery times are estimates (typically 3-7 working days) and may vary based on the artisan's location and product availability.
  3. Responsibility: Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery of the item to the carrier.


6. Returns and Refunds

  1. Policy: Returns are accepted only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Process: To initiate a return, contact [email protected] with photographic evidence.
  3. Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method or as store credit, at our discretion.


7. Intellectual Property

  1. Content: All content on this site (logos, text, graphics, images) is the property of Craftory.lk or its content suppliers and is protected by Sri Lankan intellectual property laws.
  2. User Content: By posting reviews or comments, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, and display such content.


8. Limitation of Liability

Craftory.lk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service or the products purchased. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific product in question.


9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.


10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
